His name is Gnordric Titanium-Gold Alloyicious Smitherson, and yes, he expects you to know who he is. After all, he's one of the most brilliant minds to have come out of Gnomeregan in the past 65 years. Okay, so maybe Gnomeregan hasn't been around for 65 years, but Gnordric sure has, and that's enough time to gain SOME notoriety, right? He's a warlock; all he craves is power, fame, and the adoration of everyone.
Not that he expects it all to simply fall into his lap, not necessarily. He spent most of his young life studying magic and engineering, to the point where there was little room left in his life for anything else. The fall of Gnomeregan came, well, it came as a bit of a shock, really. One day, there was a knock at his lab door, and then suddenly there was a Gnome in a radiation suit telling him he was lucky to have survived down there for so long! He'd been so caught up in his research, he hadn't even noticed anything had happened (explosions and shouting were not exactly uncommon when gnomes were involved, after all). It was a bit of a wake-up call, and while many gnomes may be hesitant to wander far from the protection of the dwarves, he made his mission to go out and explore the world.
Though his self-assured confidence may come across as self-absorbed and conceited to some, Gnordric is not one to ignore the needs of the many. Naturally, he considers himself irresistible and there's no denying that he's a huge flirt, but he's very genuine in all his interactions, and can be one of the first to offer a kind word or a shoulder to cry on. He's very affectionate, warm, and supportive of those around him, doing his best to spread his own positive thinking to others. His sense of humor might be a little off color, and he may be a bit more flippant than others would like, but he's not 100% a dick.
And he likes people an awful lot. He thinks they're wonderful. He wonders why he didn't spend more time with them sooner.
