Alcott was born near the town of Lakeshire, and has spent much of his life growing and exploring in the Redridge Mountains. From a young age, he showed a natural talent as a huntsman, and spent much of his time during his youth helping his father on brief hunts throughout the surrounding area. Eventually, Alcott became a skilled enough tracker to hunt by himself, taking much of the burden of providing off of his parent's shoulders. It was on one of these solitary hunts that he met Shen, the wolf who would become his eventual companion and combat partner. Since becoming an adult and losing both parents - one to age and another to Gnoll attacks, Alcott has still chosen to spend his time in those mountains, helping the locals fend off minor threats or hunting for his own sustenance.
Recently, Alcott has joined the effort to take the fight to the Burning Legion. He served with the Alliance forces during the battle for the Broken Shore, and now finds himself mostly alone once again, taking on small tasks to aid the Alliance in their campaign on the Broken Isles.
Alcott is generally a people person - he's an affable, mountain-man type who likes to converse at any chance he gets. Similarly, he likes to have fun, whether that be at his own expense, or the expense of others. Though he does tease, he tries to apply a filter if he feels the situation demands it (not that he always succeeds in doing so). He's a skilled tracker and huntsman, and knows how to follow subtle clues on the trail or his quarry, be it beast or humanoid. He is not the best in a close range fight, but is accurate with all manner of ranged weapon, making him a reliable presence on a battlefield.
